I’m a Food photographer who specializes in working with restaurants.

I love photographing other things too. But there’s a certain element of structured chaos in the restaurant industry that I excel at. Years of practice have given me the ability to tune out all distractions in a busy restaurant during service to focus my attention on the way the garnish sits in the cocktail. The subtle smile on chef’s face as he hands a dish to you. The way that the sauce is just starting to separate on the roasted chicken and I maybe only have another minute to photograph it before it dies.

I work with professional camera and lighting equipment. And whenever possible I shoot tethered to my laptop. This way the photographs appear on my computer as we’re shooting them. We can talk about the process and make any changes. I welcome and encourage feedback during the shoot. I’m comfortable executing my own creative vision but the real goal is making the clients vision a reality. I love the creative process and working as a part of a team.
